Oral B recently conducted a study with over 2,000 men and women and determined that a great smile with whiter teeth made people seem more attractive and also appear younger. It was revealed that individuals with “beautiful smiles” were viewed to be much more attractive than their counterparts.
You have only seconds to make that first impression and the initial impressions you make actually have significant impact. The impressions and perceptions that result are powerful. Research has proven that people with beautiful smiles are perceived to be brighter, healthier, wealthier and more desirable than their smile challenged counterparts.

University of California researchers published a research study in the December 2014 issue of the Journal of Economic Psychology that noted how a beautiful smile translates into a more successful career, which proves that people perceived as “more attractive” make more money (12.7%) than people perceived to be less attractive.
Researchers also found that during job interviews the individual deemed “more attractive” was perceived to be a better candidate for the position even if they were technically less qualified. Again, remember that one of the most important elements in judging someone’s “attractiveness” was their smile. Simply put, a beautiful smile can help you be more successful.
